## About this program

Colorado Science & Engineering Fair participation requires grades 6–12 students in Colorado schools to qualify through their designated regional science fair and follow the applicable research, supervision and safety rules. The official student page lists a $45 per-student registration fee and requires forms, an abstract, finalist permission and digital/physical project presentations. It mixes 2027 rules with a 2026 handbook, so students should confirm the current forms, regional deadlines, fee cutoff and event schedule before relying on dates. Project supplies, local fees, travel and lodging may add costs, and awards or ISEF advancement are not guaranteed.

Fields above come directly from the catalog listing. A field with no stored value is omitted.
