## About this program

Science Bound is Iowa State's long-term ASTEM and education pathway for students in participating communities in Denison, Des Moines, Marshalltown and Osceola. Students are normally invited after seventh grade, with limited ninth-grade entry as space permits. Scholars participate in school meetings, campus visits and academic experiences, maintain a 3.0 GPA and complete continuation requirements. The high-school summer requirement is forty total hours, not a weekly workload.
