## About this program

# Women in Business Case Competition

The Women in Business Case Competition is a free summer program run by the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder through its Opening Doors to Achievement office. Over three days on campus, high school students work in teams on a business case centered on issues affecting women, then present their recommendations to judges.

## What You'll Do

- Spend three days on the CU Boulder campus at the Koelbel Building (2026 competition ran June 10-12)
- Work in a team to analyze a business case focused on issues affecting women
- Build a recommendation and a presentation under a competition deadline
- Present to a judging panel of Leeds faculty, students and corporate partners
- Meet Leeds admissions staff and current business students

## Who Should Apply

Students who were high school juniors during the 2025-26 academic year, or incoming Leeds first-year students, and who are Colorado residents or attend a Colorado high school - the program states that "non-residents / students attending high school outside of Colorado will not be considered." No prior case-competition experience is required.

## Outcomes

The program is free: "the cost of tuition, room, board, and various activities is generously supported by the Leeds School of Business and corporate partners." Winning teams receive a $1,000 scholarship to the Leeds School of Business. Participants leave with case-analysis and presentation experience, a first look at a top public business school, and a competition result they can cite in college applications.
