## About this program

New Mexico Youth Conservation Corps supports paid public projects that conserve natural resources and benefit communities. Youth ages 14–25 are hired by funded local governments, tribes and nonprofit sponsors, which also provide training and career development. There is no single statewide camp session or student registration deadline: applicants need a specific sponsor's job posting, schedule and hiring requirements. Returning corps members may qualify for a cash or educational benefit under separate conditions. The state website's job-posting form is intended for employers, not youth applications.
