## About this program

SADD supports student-led health and safety work through local chapters and a free national MySADD membership platform. Chapters can operate in schools, homeschool groups, community organizations and other settings. Members access prevention materials, online learning and opportunities for contests, events or scholarships, each with its own requirements. To form a chapter, an advisor enrolls and a state coordinator links student accounts; students can also register for national resources individually. Local meeting arrangements vary, and free membership does not guarantee funding or entry to every separate event.
