# Computer Science and Informatics Summer Research Experience (CSIRE)

CSIRE is a six-week summer research program run jointly by Stony Brook University's Departments of Biomedical Informatics and Computer Science. Selected high school students join active research labs on the Stony Brook campus, working under the mentorship of faculty, Ph.D. students, and postdocs; the 2026 session runs June 29 through August 7 with 51 students participating.

## What You'll Do
