## About this program

The University of Nevada, Reno College of Engineering runs on-campus summer engineering camps where campers explore the engineering design process and sharpen math and science skills. The curriculum is developed and delivered by University of Nevada, Reno engineering faculty and students with engineering professionals from the community, at a 6:1 student-teacher ratio. Summer 2027 camp registration opens February 1.

The high school camps are for ages 14-17 (middle school camps serve ages 12-14). Registration requires a non-refundable $50 deposit, with the full camp fee due within a month of registering; the page does not list camp fees. Scholarship applications, which ask for a student-interest essay and a teacher recommendation letter, are part of the registration form.
