## About the KFC Foundation Colonel's Scholars Program The KFC Foundation's Colonel's Scholars Program helps KFC restaurant employees pursue their dreams of higher education. Named after Colonel Harland Sanders, the program embodies his belief that it's never too late to learn and grow. The foundation has awarded over $21 million to KFC employees since 2006. ### Award Details - **Amount**: $5,000 (with 2.5 GPA minimum) or up to $20,000 (with 3.0+ GPA) - **Renewable**: Yes, for up to 4 years - **Application Deadline**: Typically February annually ### Eligibility Requirements - Current KFC restaurant employee (U.S. locations only) - Minimum 6 months of employment at KFC - High school senior or current college student - Minimum 2.5 GPA (for $5,000 award) or 3.0 GPA (for $10,000–$20,000) - U.S. citizen or permanent resident - Planning to enroll or currently enrolled in an accredited college program ### Selection Process Applications are reviewed by an independent scholarship administrator.
