The **World Education Games** was a large-scale international online competition created and run by **3P Learning**, the company behind Mathletics and other digital learning platforms. It brought together millions of students from more than 200 countries and territories to compete in real-time challenges in **math, literacy, and science** over themed days such as World Maths Day, World Literacy Day, and World Science Day. Students participated through an online platform, answering curriculum-aligned questions as quickly and accurately as possible, with live scoreboards and global rankings. The event was primarily designed for school-aged students (roughly K–12) and required registration through schools or, in some years, via individual accounts. Benefits included practicing core academic skills under time pressure, experiencing a sense of global community, and gaining motivation through friendly international competition.
