ExtracurricularHub for school counselors
ExtracurricularHub is a free catalog of high school extracurriculars — summer programs, competitions, internships, research and volunteering — that students can search without an account. Counselors can send students one link, review a student's shortlist together, and reuse our aggregate statistics under CC BY 4.0. No program pays to be listed or ranked.
Send students one link instead of a spreadsheet
The catalog is free and needs no sign-in to browse. Students can filter by interest, grade, cost, format and deadline. Program pages link out to the program's own site, and to a separate application page only when one is listed.
When we do not know a program's cost, its page leaves the cost unlabeled rather than showing it as free, and students are asked to check dates and eligibility on the official page before applying.
Let students find their own starting list
Find My Fit is a short quiz that suggests programs from a student's interests, grade and constraints. It is a starting point for a conversation, not an admissions recommendation.
Review a student's shortlist together
Students can save programs, compare them side by side, and share a 3–5 program list with you as a link or a printed counselor copy. The shared list carries only program names and official links: no student name, grade, class year or personal notes.
Draft activities lists inside the real limits
The Activities Builder drafts Common App and UC activity entries inside each application's own character limits (Common App: 50-character position, 100-character organization, 150-character description). It works signed out, and students copy each field into the application themselves.
Use our statistics in your own materials (CC BY 4.0)
The aggregate catalog statistics — costs, formats, deadlines by month, each published with the number of programs it was computed over — are licensed CC BY 4.0. You may reuse them in handouts, newsletters and presentations with attribution and a link to the statistics page. The full aggregate table downloads as CSV.
The license covers those statistics. Program pages are free to link to and share with students.
How listings are kept honest
No program can pay to be listed or to rank higher, and there is no affiliate or sponsored list. Our editorial policy and listing standards say what each field means and how we handle what we cannot confirm.
Add ExtracurricularHub to your resources page
If your department keeps a list of student resources, you are welcome to add us. The link below points students at the catalog. Know a program we are missing? Submit it and we will review it against our listing standards.
