What Is Codeforces Rounds?
Codeforces is an active global platform for recurring online programming contests, ratings, practice, and community learning. Its official FAQ says participation is free and open to everybody and that it runs approximately six contests each month. This is not a high-school-only U.S. program and has no grade 9–12 admission process.
Participants create a Codeforces account and register separately for each upcoming round. Under the published default rules, a typical round lasts two hours and presents five algorithmic problems, though each round's announcement can change the format. Contestants submit code, receive automated judging against pretests, and—depending on the round—may inspect and challenge other submissions during a hacking phase before final tests and standings. Past contests remain available for practice and virtual participation.
