# Georgetown Entrepreneurship Academy The Entrepreneurship Academy is a two-week summer program within Georgetown University's Summer Programs for High School Students. Held on Georgetown's campus in Washington, DC, the academy takes an in-depth look at choosing a start-up, prototype testing, market research, social innovation, and the day-to-day operations of running a business. The 2026 session ran June 7-19, with residential tuition and meals of $6,465 and a commuter rate of $5,075. ## What You'll Do - Learn the basics of design thinking, brainstorming, and market research - Shape an idea into a business plan and refine it with instructor feedback - Hear from and network with experienced entrepreneurs across industries - Compete in teams in a final pitch competition - Build public-speaking, networking, and team-building skills ## Who Should Apply Current 8th-12th graders (participants must be at least 15 by check-in) with at least a 2.0 GPA who want a hands-on introduction to entrepreneurship on a university campus. Admissions are rolling, and seats fill first-come, first-served. ## Outcomes Participants leave with a developed business concept, pitch experience before a panel, exposure to Georgetown faculty and guest entrepreneurs, and a completed pre-college credential from a two-week university program.
