What Is Hagan Scholarship?
The Hagan Scholarship supports high-achieving students with substantial financial need through an eligible four-year degree. The 2027-28 award can provide up to $7,500 per semester for eight consecutive semesters—up to $60,000—plus $1,000 for essential college items. Scholars also complete programme workshops and may receive funded brokerage-account and study-abroad benefits under detailed continuing obligations.
Fall 2026 applications for 2027 graduates close December 1. The March 15, 2027 spring alternative is only for first-time applicants who have never applied, not an extension for fall applicants. These are civil dates without a cutoff clock or timezone. Awards are expected by May 1, rather than promised at a fixed publication instant. The 240-hour work period ending September 1 is a selected-recipient condition, not an application gate.
