# Stokes Educational Scholarship Program The Stokes Educational Scholarship Program is the National Security Agency's premier scholarship-for-service pathway for high school seniors. Recipients attend the college of their choice while employed by NSA, combining fully funded education with real intelligence-community work experience. Applications are accepted in the fall — NSA directs applicants to check its job board beginning September 1. ## What You'll Do - Receive tuition and mandatory fees up to $30,000 per year plus a salary - Work at NSA during summers for 12 weeks in areas related to your major, with housing and travel covered if your school is more than 75 miles from NSA headquarters - Pursue a degree in computer science, computer or electrical engineering, cybersecurity, mathematics, or language analysis - Commit to work at NSA after graduation for at least 1.5 times the length of your study ## Who Should Apply Graduating high school seniors — particularly students from underrepresented backgrounds — who are U.S. citizens able to obtain a security clearance and are planning one of the qualifying majors. ## Outcomes Graduates finish college with little or no debt, several summers of intelligence-community experience, and a guaranteed professional position at NSA in their field of study.
