# Youth About Business Summer Business Camp Youth About Business, a nonprofit that has trained students in experiential business education since 1992, runs summer camps built around a corporate merger-and-acquisition simulation. In 2026 the camps are hosted at Columbia Business School in New York City (Northeast Camp July 6-10; Global Camp July 13-17), with a virtual Business Economy seminar in June and an invitation-only Championship Camp (July 27-August 1) for top teams. ## What You'll Do - Join a student "executive team" managing a company through a simulated M&A deal - Learn deal mechanics from accountants, attorneys, investment bankers, and marketing executives - Analyze financial statements and negotiation strategy under deadline pressure - Pitch your merger proposal to a panel of national business leaders - Compete for an invitation to the New York Championship Camp ## Who Should Apply High school students at any experience level - the program is designed both for students new to business and for members of business clubs seeking a competitive challenge. Applications are accepted online each spring (the 2026 deadline was May 31). ## Outcomes Campers gain rare hands-on M&A and corporate-finance experience, professional advisors as mentors, presentation skills before executive judges, and a national alumni network of more than 8,000 students.
