What Is Youth About Business Summer Business Camp?
Youth About Business is an independent nonprofit whose Summer Business Camp puts high-school students into executive roles in a team-based merger-and-acquisition simulation. The completed 2026 cycle offered two one-week residential New York camps hosted at Columbia Graduate School of Business, with students housed at the Towers at City College. Hosting does not make campers Columbia students and does not confer Columbia admission or credit.
Campers research a company, work with accountants, analysts, attorneys, investment bankers, marketing, human-resources and technology professionals, negotiate a simulated transaction and present their proposal to senior executive judges. Nine top teams were invited to a more complex hybrid Championship Camp. All campers were also invited to a Wall Street conference and monthly leadership and career programming from September through May.
