What Is EarthCare: The Leadership Challenge?

EarthCare is an environmental and leadership institute operated by 21st Century Leaders, with support from Georgia Power. Students explore sustainability, STEM and leadership through workshops, professional-development sessions and team activities.

The official page currently describes the June 7-12, 2026 residential programme at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville. For that cycle, applicants had to live in Georgia and be rising high-school sophomores, juniors or seniors. New 21CL students needed a teacher or supervisor recommendation; accepted students attended a required April orientation. Applications ran January 5-March 1, 2026, with limited places and a waitlist.
