What Is AFCEA STEM Scholarship Directory?
AFCEA does not offer one nationwide scholarship for all high-school juniors and seniors under this title. Its current page is a directory of separate national awards for undergraduates, graduate students, ROTC participants, veterans, military families, STEM-teacher candidates, and other narrowly defined groups, plus independently run local-chapter scholarships.
The 2026 national STEM Majors application is closed and explicitly excludes high-school seniors. It considered eligible college sophomores and juniors for awards of $2,500 or $5,000 through one application. Some AFCEA chapters separately fund graduating high-school seniors in their own communities, but each chapter sets its geography, grade, major, amount, materials, and deadline. High-school users must therefore find and verify a current local chapter award; they should not use the national STEM Majors requirements or May 1 deadline as a universal high-school application.
