What Is Microsoft Imagine Cup Junior - AI for Good?
The global program invited young people to learn responsible AI and propose technology concepts addressing accessibility, environmental, humanitarian, health or cultural-heritage problems. It was designed for beginners and did not require coding.
In the latest verified official cycle, Imagine Cup Junior 2024, students ages 13-18 entered the AI for Good category in teams of two to six with an adult team leader. Teams submitted a PowerPoint concept and a video; 10 winning teams received merchandise and a trophy. Microsoft now returns an unavailable-resource page for that cycle, and the current 2026 Imagine Cup is a different competition for enrolled students age 18+.
