What Is Alliance Theatre Teen Ensemble?
The Alliance Theatre Teen Ensemble is a tuition-free, audition-based company for 18-20 rising high-school juniors and seniors from across Metro Atlanta. Members spend a year connected to a professional theater: they attend every Alliance production, meet cast and crew, write reviews, and join monthly full-day workshops led by Alliance teaching artists and guests. Training covers acting, auditions, dance, singing, playwriting, production and both traditional and experimental theater creation.
The 2026-27 Ensemble auditions were held by Zoom on April 23, April 25, May 12 and May 16, 2026. Applicants prepared a one-minute monologue, an optional 30-second song if they identified as singers, discussed their artistic interests and reasons for joining, and completed a short creation exercise with a current Ensemble member. Those audition dates have passed.
