# Code Club (Raspberry Pi Foundation) Code Club is the Raspberry Pi Foundation's global network of free coding clubs for school-aged young people - the network that now also carries forward the CoderDojo community. Clubs meet in schools, libraries, and community venues, where members work through hundreds of free projects at their own pace, supported by volunteer mentors. Over ten years, more than 2 million young people have taken part through clubs in over 100 countries. ## What You'll Do - Work through free, self-paced coding projects to build games, animations, websites, and more - Level up from block-based coding toward text languages as your skills grow - Get help from volunteer mentors and share what you make with your club - Join a worldwide community of young creators through Foundation events and showcases ## Who Should Apply Code Clubs are free and open to all school-aged young people of any experience level, which makes them one of the lowest-barrier ways for middle schoolers to start (or deepen) coding. Use the club finder on the Code Club site to locate a club near you and get in touch; educators and volunteers can also start a new club with free training from the Foundation. ## Outcomes Members leave with a portfolio of finished creative coding projects, growing confidence in computing, and a mentor-supported community - a natural on-ramp to competitions and advanced computer science later in school.
