What Is Code Club?
Code Club is the Raspberry Pi Foundation's active global network of free coding clubs for school-aged young people. Clubs operate in more than 100 countries and may meet in person or online on weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or other local schedules. The official global program is not limited to grades 6-12: each host sets participant ages, vacancies, calendar, language, accessibility, safeguarding, devices, internet, consent, and attendance rules. Some clubs are public, while others are private or invitation-only.
Participants learn at their own pace with mentors and free step-by-step projects. The library includes hundreds of projects and six-project learning paths in Scratch, Python, artificial intelligence, HTML/CSS websites, Raspberry Pi Pico, micro:bit, Unity, and related topics. A free browser Code Editor reduces setup needs, though a local club may still require or provide particular equipment.
