What Is Girls Who Code Clubs?
Girls Who Code Clubs are free, flexible computer-science communities for students in grades 3-12 at any skill level. Clubs may meet in person or entirely online, within a class or after school, on weekends, or in summer. A typical school-year Club meets about 1-2 hours per week, though each host sets its schedule.
Grades 6-12 choose from self-guided learning paths and projects in Scratch, Python, p5.js, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Swift, web development, cybersecurity, game design, and AI. Younger Clubs use foundational computing, block-based coding, hands-on activities, and AI literacy. All ages build projects addressing real-world challenges in a supportive peer community.
