What Is Interact Clubs?

Interact is Rotary International's global service-club program for young people ages 12-18. It is not a single selective summer program or one central application. A school- or community-based club operates with mentoring and guidance from a sponsoring Rotary club, while youth members lead service and leadership activities.

Every Interact club organizes at least two service projects per year: one that benefits its school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Members can build leadership, plan and fund projects, work with community leaders, learn about other cultures, make friends, and take part in activities such as World Interact Week, the Interact Video Awards, Rotary Youth Day at the United Nations, or Global Youth Service Day when locally available.
