What Is Johns Hopkins CTY Residential Programming?
Johns Hopkins now presents its summer residential offering as course-specific Residential Programming, with three weeks of intensive classroom work and supervised campus life. Programs serve grades 5-12 at selected sites and grades 7-12 at all residential sites; the Johns Hopkins University site includes courses designed specifically for students who have completed grade 9.
Admission is not based on grade alone. Each course has its own grade range, subject prerequisites and CTY identification level, often quantitative or verbal CTY-Level or Advanced CTY-Level eligibility established through accepted test scores. Students should create a MyCTY account, establish eligibility and enroll in a specific open course/site.
