# Kelley Women's Leadership Institute The Kelley Women's Leadership Institute (KWLI, formerly the Young Women's Institute) is a selective pre-college program at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business that advances the representation, impact, and success of women in business. Students are chosen from around the globe to spend a full day on the Bloomington campus — or join a two-evening virtual edition — funded entirely by the Kelley School and its corporate partners. ## What You'll Do - Engage with Kelley faculty lectures and work through real-world business cases - Develop leadership skills in workshops alongside high-achieving peers - Network with Kelley students, admissions staff, and corporate partners - Choose the in-person day at Bloomington (summer sessions) or the virtual format held over two evenings ## Who Should Apply High school women with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher: rising juniors and seniors for the in-person sessions, and sophomores through seniors for the virtual edition. There are no registration fees — breakfast and lunch are provided in person, and participants cover only transportation and personal expenses. Applications open in early January and close mid-March, with a 100-word statement and 250-word essay required. ## Outcomes Participants gain early exposure to business education and careers, a strengthened application profile for selective business schools, and a network within one of the country's leading undergraduate business programs.
