What Is Louisiana State Science & Engineering Fair?
The Louisiana State Science & Engineering Fair brings first- and second-place winners from official Louisiana regional fairs to LSU in Baton Rouge. Junior Division serves grades 6-8 and Senior Division serves grades 9-12. Students register, complete the required paperwork and present their research projects.
Student and judge registration opens January 4, 2027. Student registration and paperwork close March 19, 2027; no closing time or timezone is stated. The registration fee is $25. Payment is required before the fair unless the school covers students by check; cash and money orders are not accepted. Travel, project and other expenses are not itemized on the page.
