What Is NSLC International Diplomacy?
This is a nine-day residential National Student Leadership Conference program split between Georgetown University in Washington, DC and Columbia University in New York. Students spend six days at Georgetown, transfer with the program, and spend three days at Columbia; they arrive in Washington and depart from New York.
The program uses United Nations and world simulations, NGO research, cross-cultural communication, diplomatic negotiation, leadership workshops, guest speakers, and visits that may include embassies, cultural centers, the United Nations, and major DC and New York sites. The two 2026 sessions ran June 12-20 and June 24-July 2 and cost $4,495 residential. NSLC says 2027 dates and locations will be announced in fall 2026, so the former $3,295 listing is outdated.
