What Is Rotary Youth Leadership Awards?
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is a family of intensive leadership events organized by individual Rotary clubs and districts, not one centralized national program. Rotary's international page gives a broad age range of 14-30 and says events can range from a one-day seminar to a retreat or weeklong camp. Programs commonly develop communication, problem-solving, community leadership and connections with peers and community leaders.
Participants are nominated by local Rotary clubs. Each local organizer controls its audience, dates, venue, application form, sponsorship or participant cost, travel arrangements and selection process.
