# Chick Evans Scholarship The Chick Evans Scholarship, administered by the Western Golf Association and the Evans Scholars Foundation, is a full tuition and housing college scholarship for high-achieving golf caddies with limited financial means — one of the largest scholarship programs in golf. The application becomes available online August 1, applications are expected to be completed with all supporting documents by October 15, and decisions are finalized by April 1. ## What You'll Do - Build a strong caddie record: applicants must have caddied regularly and successfully for a minimum of two years and continue caddying during their application year - Maintain excellent academics — above a B average in college preparatory courses through junior year - Submit the application plus financial documentation (CSS Profile and FAFSA become available October 1) - Interview and, if selected, join an Evans Scholars house at a partner university ## Who Should Apply High school seniors (and college freshmen) who caddie at a sponsoring golf club, show demonstrated financial need, and excel in character, integrity, and leadership. ## Outcomes Evans Scholars receive full tuition and housing renewable for four years, live together in Evans Scholars chapter houses at partner universities, and join an alumni network of thousands of scholarship graduates.
