What Is Chick Evans Scholarship for Caddies?
The Evans Scholarship is a full four-year tuition and housing award for high-achieving golf caddies with limited financial means. Applicants generally apply at the beginning of high-school senior year (college freshmen may also apply) and must show four things: at least two years of regular, successful caddying with continued work at the sponsoring club, above a B average in college-preparatory classes after junior year, clear financial need, and outstanding character, integrity, and leadership.
Core application and evaluations were expected complete September 30, 2026. The separate CSS Profile and FAFSA completion date is October 15. These are published civil dates without clocks. The public login does not establish whether new submissions after the expected core date are accepted; the date is not certified as an absolute prohibition or an open-ended rolling route. Applicants must confirm their own current disposition.
