# Anne Ford Scholarship The National Center for Learning Disabilities awards the Anne Ford Scholarship each year to a graduating high school senior with a documented learning disability who is heading into a four-year bachelor's degree program. The award is $10,000, paid as $2,500 per year across four years. NCLD runs a companion award, the Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship ($5,000 over two years), for seniors heading to a two-year community college, vocational or technical training, or a specialized disability program - one application covers both. ## What You'll Do - Complete the multi-step online application covering your background, family, academic history, and accomplishments - Upload proof of your learning disability - an IEP or a formal evaluation from a school psychologist or licensed professional - Submit your FAFSA information and detailed Estimated Family Contribution - Secure at least one recommendation - Answer three personal questions, which NCLD accepts in text, video, or audio form ## Who Should Apply Graduating high school seniors with a documented learning disability - dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, or a specific learning disability in math, reading, or writing - who will enroll full time in the fall. Students who have ADHD alongside a learning disability are encouraged to apply; ADHD on its own does not qualify. ## Outcomes The scholarship provides four years of steady funding and national recognition from the country's leading learning-disabilities advocacy organization, and recipients are profiled by NCLD as models of self-advocacy for students who learn differently.
