What Is Dell Scholars Program?
Dell Scholars is a selective scholarship and college-completion program of the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. Earlier nationwide materials described 500 students selected annually for a USD 20,000 flexible scholarship plus a Dell laptop, book credits, emergency-fund access, academic advising, career coaching, free teletherapy, discounted personal-support services, and a scholar network. Funds may support tuition, fees, housing, and other approved undergraduate costs and, subject to program rules, study abroad, internship stipends, graduate school, or loan repayment.
Applicants must be high-school seniors with at least a 2.4 GPA, be Pell Grant eligible, have participated in a currently approved college-readiness program in both grades 11 and 12, and graduate from a Texas high school and plan to enroll at an accredited four-year public college or university in Texas for the 2027 cycle. Strong applicants show purpose, career focus, perseverance, self-motivation, and determination. Participation in a program that is not on the current approved list does not satisfy the requirement automatically.
