What Is Hispanic Scholarship Fund High School?
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund's Scholar Program supports eligible students of Hispanic heritage, of any race. The official page describes the 2026 application period of January 5–February 15, now closed. It does not establish a 2027 application deadline or a universal high-school grade range.
The 2026 requirements included U.S. citizenship, permanent residence or DACA status; a 3.0 high-school GPA or 2.5 college GPA; eligible full-time study at a four-year U.S. university or graduate school in 2026–27; and FAFSA completion. Scholar selection was merit-based. Cash awards of $500–$5,000 depended on financial need and available funding: Scholar status did not guarantee a cash award.
