What Is Point Foundation Flagship Scholarship?

Point Foundation's Flagship Scholarship supports LGBTQ+ and ally students pursuing bachelor's, graduate, or professional degrees at accredited nonprofit colleges and universities in the United States. It is not limited to high-school seniors: current undergraduate, graduate, and professional students can qualify, and Point publishes no age limit. High-school applicants must at least be seniors and later verify eligible full-time enrollment if selected.

The current criteria require a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA, full-time degree-seeking study, and demonstrated connection and commitment to LGBTQ+ and ally communities. Fully online degree programs are ineligible. Immediate family members of people with specified formal Point employee, board, or volunteer relationships are ineligible, as are students who have already received four years of Flagship support. The official page does not list a U.S. citizenship or permanent-residency requirement; the key geographic rule is enrollment at an eligible U.S. institution.
