What Is Invest in Girls Programs?
Invest in Girls, part of the Council for Economic Education, is a family of free financial-education and career-access opportunities for high school students who identify as girls. Its Financial Foundations sequence offers three live six-workshop courses: personal finance (CFO), investing (CIO) and college/workplace readiness (CEO). It also offers finance-career exploration, mentorship and a selective internship pathway.
The fall 2026 mentorship application is currently open through August 24 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. That program is limited to active or former IIG or eligible CEE competition participants who are high school juniors/seniors or first-year college students, and runs September-December through monthly virtual group sessions and one-to-one mentor meetings. Exploring Finance is expected in fall 2026; internship applications are expected in spring 2027. Course signup dates and capacity vary.
