What Is JA Company of the Year Competition?
JA Company of the Year is the national finalist stage for eligible high school teams that completed the JA Company Program and operated a student-run business. Students cannot apply directly: only local JA Area staff may nominate teams. The 2026 process required three to five representatives, all age 18 or younger throughout Future Bound, plus an original templated company report, commercial or concept video, permission forms and JA Area nomination.
The 2026 national event at Boston University is complete. Finalists participated in business presentations, judging interviews, expo and Future Bound entrepreneurship and career workshops; first, second and third place companies were recognized. No 2027 nomination deadline, event location, fee or travel package is currently published.
