What Is YEA! National Competition (Saunders Scholars?
YEA!'s national Saunders Scholars Competition is the capstone pitch event for top student entrepreneurs selected from local Young Entrepreneurs Academy classes. Students first complete a local, usually academic-year program in which they build and launch a real business or social movement, work with mentors, write a business plan and pitch at a chapter investor panel. Chapter-selected entrepreneurs then compete nationally for cash, start-up support, college scholarships and the title of America's Top Young Entrepreneur.
The 2026 national event ran June 10-12 in Frisco, Texas and is over. The national homepage now names its winners, but no 2027 host, dates, qualification limits, prize package or direct registration is posted. A live YEA! class application exists, with a USD 20 fee unless waived by promo code, but chapter deadlines, tuition, scholarships and selection processes vary.
