What Is Jane Street INSIGHT?
INSIGHT is a multi-day, in-person Jane Street program for women, transgender and/or gender-expansive applicants interested in software engineering, trading and research, or strategy and product. It uses lectures, games, mock trading, technical activities and case studies to show how Jane Street teams solve real problems. Prior finance knowledge is not required, and Jane Street provides travel, accommodation and a daily stipend.
This is not a grades 11-12 high-school program. The live New York application requires a degree currently being pursued, field of study, school email, high-school graduation year and expected full-time-employment date; its latest high-school graduation option is 2026. The current NYC session requires availability January 4-9, 2027. The form is open but states no deadline, seat count, stipend amount or selection timeline.
