What Is The Big Bang UK Young Scientists?
The Big Bang Fair is EUK Education's large in-person STEM careers event for school groups at the NEC Birmingham. The completed 2026 Fair ran June 9-11 and brought more than 20,000 students to interactive activities, workshops, experiments, live shows and conversations with scientists, engineers and technicians. School bookings were for a morning or afternoon half-day session.
The organizer confirms that the Fair will return in 2027, but has not announced dates, ticket release, price or eligibility. The 2026 event was limited to groups from state-funded schools; home-educated students, independent schools/colleges/sixth forms and universities could not attend under that cycle's rules.
