What Is Walton College Fleischer Scholars Program?
Fleischer Scholars is a free six-day on-campus business program at the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of Business in Fayetteville for first-generation Arkansas high-school students who will be seniors in fall 2027. Selection considers Arkansas high-school graduation, first-generation status, academic performance, leadership/community service and household income or financial need.
Students explore business careers and entrepreneurship, practice communication, prepare for college, network and visit local companies. Summer 2027 camp dates remain to be determined. The official page prints an application window of November 1–March 14, interviews March 22–April 2, acceptances April 16, a required May Zoom session and signed contracts due May 28 at 11:59pm; it does not assign individual years or a timezone to those milestone lines.
