What Is Massachusetts Envirothon?
The Massachusetts Envirothon empowers high school students from across the Commonwealth to explore, question and protect the natural world through a hands-on environmental education competition. For more than 30 years it has challenged students with real-world learning, from testing water quality and studying soil composition to identifying wildlife and managing forest ecosystems. The 2027 competition is on Thursday, May 27, 2027, with the current issue Digging Deeper: Building Resilience from the Ground Up, on the role healthy soils play in communities.
High school students in Massachusetts. Each team has 5 participants, and schools have recently been able to bring 2 teams. Registration opens in late September; the event location is to be announced.
