What Is MCA Chicago Teen Creative Agency?
Teen Creative Agency (TCA) is the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago's intensive cultural-leadership program. A cohort of 25 Chicago-area teens meets at the museum every Saturday from September through June for two years, with additional summer and between-session work. Members explore contemporary art, visit cultural sites, meet artists, curators, and museum staff, build collaboration and leadership skills, and create public events such as 21Minus.
TCA is for curious, creative, collaborative, and committed young people; applicants do not need to identify as artists. Adults who work with youth may submit an optional nomination, but a nomination is not stated as a prerequisite for the teen application.
