What Is Merchant Marine Academy AIM Program?

A week living as a midshipman at Kings Point - dormitories, dining hall, drills - and it costs nothing.

The AIM Program at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy is a week-long residential summer program for rising seniors, built to mirror the daily life of an academy midshipman. You sleep in academy dormitories, eat in the dining facilities, and move through a structured schedule of physical training, classroom sessions and team exercises. Maritime work is hands-on: ship simulators, navigation, seamanship. It is free to attend.
