What Is Oregon Promise Grant?
Oregon Promise helps eligible recent high-school and GED graduates pay community-college tuition after other state and federal grants. Applications require the Oregon Promise form, FAFSA or ORSAA, a listed Oregon community college, and GPA or GED verification. Deadlines depend on graduation date and credential type. The 2026–27 award ranged from $2,280 to $4,716 and did not cover all books, fees or housing. Students graduating July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027 were told applications would reopen in October 2026; the next cohort’s aid limits must be checked separately.
