What Is Regeneron International Science?
Regeneron ISEF is Society for Science's international science and engineering research competition. Students reach it through a Society-affiliated local, regional, state or national fair. There is no direct individual application to the final.
The 2027 rules cover grades 9-12 or equivalent and require students not to have reached age 20 on or before the May 1 preceding ISEF. Students enter one project, individually or in a team of no more than three. The judged research may cover no more than 12 continuous months and may not begin before January 2026. Review approval and safety requirements before starting research.
