What Is RoboMaster University Championship (RMUC)?
RoboMaster's active flagship championship is a university competition, not a grades 9-12 extracurricular. Accredited higher-education institutions form multidisciplinary teams that design and build arena robots integrating mechanical engineering, electronics, embedded systems, software, computer vision, autonomous navigation, communications, and strategy. Registration is institution-authorized, and current eligibility also depends on specified prior RoboMaster results. Teams complete technical-assessment milestones before qualifying for regional competition and possible advancement to finals.
The official high-school page still describes a 2020 SUSTech-DJI summer camp; it does not establish a current youth league, camp, application, price, or deadline. A technically skilled high-school student therefore should not be told they can register directly for RMUC or join a university team without written authorization under the current rules. The 2027 university season is not yet published.
