# RWU Entrepreneurial Summer Experience The RWU Entrepreneurial Summer Experience is a week-long residential pre-college camp at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island. Rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders live on the waterfront campus from Sunday through Friday and work through a series of interactive workshops designed for future entrepreneurs, taught with RWU's business faculty and campus resources. The 2026 session ran June 21-26. ## What You'll Do - Build entrepreneurial foundations in financial literacy, strategic thinking, marketing, and product management - Practice interpersonal business skills like networking and negotiation in live workshop sessions - Develop an entrepreneurial mindset through problem-solving and resilience exercises - Live in the residence halls and join planned activities on and off the Bristol campus ## Who Should Apply Rising 10th-12th graders interested in business, startups, or leading their own ventures. No application is required - families register online with a $500 deposit, with the balance of the $1,995 fee (tuition, room, and board) due in the spring. Ten $500 scholarships are reserved for DECA members referred by a DECA advisor, five of them for Rhode Island students. The 2026 session has concluded; registration for the next summer is announced on the RWU summer camps page. ## Outcomes Campers leave with practical business fundamentals, a taste of residential college life at RWU, and networking experience with faculty and entrepreneurial peers - useful groundwork for DECA competitions, business plan contests, and undergraduate business study.
