What Is Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes?

It is not operated by Stanford Graduate School of Business, is not an on-campus GSB program and does not promise MBA-style teaching, GSB faculty, GSB networking or a college-admission advantage.

In Summer 2026, the course ran live online for two weeks in each of two sessions and admitted students in grades 9–11. Students explored customer insight, marketing, product development, business models, design thinking, leadership and Silicon Valley business examples, then completed a team startup project. Live class met for two hours each weekday within a three-hour window that also included online office hours. Students planned another one to two hours of homework per day.
