# School for Ethics and Global Leadership (SEGL) SEGL is a highly selective semester-long residential program in Washington, D.C. that brings together exceptional high school juniors to study ethics, leadership, and global affairs. Students earn transferable academic credits while engaging with D.C.'s policy ecosystem. ## What You'll Do - Study ethics, leadership theory, and global issues in seminar-style classes - Meet with Senators, ambassadors, Supreme Court justices, and policy leaders - Complete a capstone project addressing a real-world ethical challenge - Earn transferable high school credits in English, History, and Ethics - Live in a residential community with 24 other selected students ## Who Should Apply High school juniors with outstanding academic records, demonstrated leadership, and passion for making ethical impact. Highly selective (approximately 5% acceptance rate). Need-based financial aid covers up to full tuition. ## Outcomes - Transferable academic credits from an accredited institution - Unparalleled access to D.C. policy leaders and institutions - Capstone project suitable for college application portfolios - Lifelong membership in the SEGL alumni community
