What Is Seacamp Marine Science Summer Camp?
Seacamp Association operates an in-person residential marine-science summer camp on Big Pine Key in the Florida Keys. Campers study marine ecology through field-based classes, labs, wading, kayaking and snorkeling-based boat trips, with additional aquatics and creative activities. This is distinct from Seacamp's Newfound Harbor Marine Institute school-year field-trip program.
For 2026, the two-week residential sessions served ages 12-17 and cost $5,050 per session; optional SCUBA cost another $650. The one-week residential sessions served ages 10-17 and cost $2,300 per session without SCUBA. Those sessions ran from June 25 through August 11, 2026 and have all ended as of August 22. The official site has not announced 2027 dates, rates, deposits, payment deadlines or scholarship instructions, so the expired 2026 registration language should not be presented as a live 2027 opening.
