# AIMI Summer Health AI Bootcamp The AIMI Summer Health AI Bootcamp is a two-week, fully virtual summer program run by the Stanford Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging. Across live sessions held Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pacific, students get a curated introduction to how machine learning is transforming healthcare, from medical imaging to clinical decision support. Summer 2026 offers two sessions: Session A (June 15-26) and Session B (July 6-17). ## What You'll Do - Attend live lectures on the fundamentals of machine learning in healthcare settings - Work through hands-on coding workshops (no prior coding experience required) - Analyze real-world case studies at the intersection of AI and medicine - Join group discussions and career-oriented sessions with guest speakers from academia, industry, and government - Complete roughly 20 hours per week of structured programming ## Who Should Apply Applicants must attend a US high school (entering grades 9-12 in fall 2026), be at least 14 years old by the program start, and reside in the United States for the program's duration. The bootcamp is designed for all technical levels; curiosity about math, computing, or healthcare matters more than experience. ## Outcomes Students leave with foundational health-AI literacy, introductory Python-based ML experience, and exposure to career paths across medicine and artificial intelligence. The program fee is $2,000 plus a $45 application fee, and a limited number of need-based financial aid awards are offered each cycle. Applications typically open in winter with a February deadline.
