What Is Sydney Eisteddfod Music Events?
Sydney Eisteddfod's 2026 season contains hundreds of in-person performing-arts events across Sydney, including choirs, classical and contemporary singing, piano, instrumental solos/ensembles and major scholarships. Events serve different ages—from children through adults—and have separate repertoire, residency, video-heat, accompanist, date, fee and award conditions.
The 2026 entry portal still states that entries are open. General guidance says entries are accepted subject to capacity until 21 days before each event and may close earlier. Music principal events ran from June through August, with the broader festival extending into October. Entry fees vary and are nonrefundable unless the event is cancelled. Applicants must select the exact event first, then rely on that event's current page and terms; a single grade range, deadline, cost or prize would be inaccurate.
